February 29th 2008 Testimonials

We dig our students. And they return the favor. Here's some of the comments from the week ending February 29th, 2008.

Beautiful courseware. Amazing detail. The lab evolutions and sequence allowed me to learn faster and more effectively than I ever have before. Not sure how Storm did it, but this is the best Cisco book I have ever seen and I have read quite a few. Amazingly enough, I almost feel like I have learned enough to even teach many of these concepts to my own staff when needed. Great Job.
Best Cisco class I've take, hands down. I took a course from another company wherein they used virtual routers/switches. It was horrible. Being able to physically touch the equipment really makes the difference.
What more could I say. Storm is THE best instructor. His level of knowledge is unbelievable and his personality in the classroom is so inspiring that I am certain I will be disappointed should I ever be trained by anyone other than him. I feel very lucky to have been able to spend a week learning CCNA technology from him (a CCIE).
and after all of this, the labs were the best part. The "build" of the solution from the beginning to end is the only way to do it. I seem to finally understand the concept of 'solution' and honestly feel like I have mastered what it requires to achieve it. I am still somewhat in awe as to this experience, definetely exceeded my expectations. I am super excited to share this with others and come back to Interface for further training.
The instructor was very informative and gave us all time absorb the info. he also treated us more as an equal rather than acting better than us, which help with the trust and repor of the class as a whole.
Frank Xavier was a very effective instructor and was able to convey the material very well. I appreciate his expertise.
Spike did a very fine job presenting the required material for the A+.
O yeah like Dale who was my instructor for CCNA 210 Mike always kept the course interesting. He challenged us and also was great in using real life experiences he has had to stress out key points.
Lots of questions to verify understanding level of students.
No improvement necessary.
Mr. Storm not only demonstrated his intimate knowledge of the subject material but presented it in a manner that in my opinion was almost impossible no to learn. One word, WOW!
The instructor knew the inner workings of Cisco thoroughly and wasn't simply parroting material from a book. I would travel again to take similar courses from Interface.
Storm is one of, if not the best instructor that I have encountered in my career. I personally have gone through numerous courses for different manufacturers and by far he makes it so fun and invloved that time passes by so quickly. He makes the class enjoyable and makes it so I want to be here on time and stay as long as I can.
Very knowledgeable, helps us understand better through good use of scenarios and real world problems.
Storm is by far the best instructor I have ever encountered. I am very grateful for his attention to detail with his teaching style and his ability to challenge students of all levels. You can tell he loves what he does!
I loved being able to troubleshoot similar hardware in the lab as we use back in our organzation in production.
Labs that built on previous labs was an amazing learning experience! No tjust step by step, but concept oriented.
The labs were invaluable, bringing into clear focue the material covered in the preceeding lecture. The time spent in lab was I think well matched to the materail for maximum retension. Doing something right after you learn helps reinforce the learning process. The gear and Labs are one of the best items of the training.
The Best!!
labs were great
I will be able to immediately use what I learned.
The course materials were extremely clear, concise and complete. Everything that I learned will be an immeadiate benefit to my job performance.
The material was easier to understand than the canned Cisco material.
It would be nice to have more scenarios that we could do in the labs that would enable us to troubleshoot a common error that happens in the field. This would help us get to the correct programming by using troubleshooting methods with the team.
As a small shop the objectives cover half of the job responsibilities, been that server administrator the other half.
This is the most well written class book I have ever seen. Awesome
I am glad to have shared the interface experience.
No problems with equipment, latest gear was evident everywhere.
Lab seating equipment could use improvement.
The facility and staff were well above expectations, excellent! The hardware was above expectations as well.
Everything was great.
The gear is great, cable went bad but that is the way stuff happens in the real world, so troubleshooting process that is needed. Some people will not even about cables going bad and never look at the as a possible cause of an issue.
Hooray for the Gear! Especially the good stuff like the 6509s and the ISR routers. Very glad I came here instead of going to [omitted] as my boss suggested. I took similar classes like this in the local junior college. Unlike that environment I enjoy learning from hand on experience. Mike did a great job explaining the material fully and then allowing us to see this working right before our eyes.
Top of the line equipment in class! Excellent.
No improvement necessary.
The most effective training that I have experienced in my 20+ years in the industry, well worth the investment .
The course is detailed in a better fashion than the typical Cisco course. Storm's experience, enthusiasm and ineraction with users made the class fun, ineteresitng and easy to learn. The concept of having as much lab time as possible allows students to adapt real-life applications in a training environment. I enjoyed how Storm is able to break down processes in a manner that everyone can understand.
I have BSIT form the University of Phoenix and this is 1000 time better. When you actually get to mess up and learn from my own mistakes the learning result is deeply engraved into my brain.
Presentation material and delivery was excellent.
Most complete, and effective training I have ever attended
Far and away the most organized, complete and valuable class I have attended in 15 years. Interface should be proud of what they have contributed to the world of Technical Training. From the near perfection of the course materials and hands-onn lab approach, the live hardware and being taught by Mr. Storm, who must be one of the most prolific instructors in our industry, this was the most valuable 5 days of training I have ever experienced. Thank you for this amazing experience!
I had Jason for both the HH class and the MOC [Microsoft Official Curriculum] class. Jason was excellent in both classes but I got more from the HH class that the Robotic class (MOCK)In addition I had hands on experience in the HH class with in invaluable.
Kept me awake, interested and excited to learn this.
Jason did a great job of giving real world examples in addition to book examples. He has a great sense of humor and really got the info across.
I appreciate that Jason wrote the textbook instead of having us use the Microsoft blue book, which from previous experience, I think is more like an outline and doesn't have much content. Jason's book is excellent!
the book content is execellent and I especially like the appendixes were he has illustrations that are more difficult.
Love the content you created. MUCH better than the MS books.
I liked that we got to try everything from start to finish. It helps to know how things should be set up, so that when the time to troubleshoot comes, you know how it's supposed to be. Example: we set up Active Directory and DNS - this is a big part of making Exchange 2007 work.
HH is better in my opinon as it is closer to "real world" If I had my choice between a MOCK class and a HH class I would select the HH class.
The book is excellent Adjusted to the class request of what they needed.
Very thorough and personable. Excellent use of external resources.
Good examples used in class. Will be able to use concepts in current role.
As usual...Dan was awesome. He had tons and tons of demos/code for us. Jeff was able to answer every question with ease
Jeff was great
Jeff is very knowledgeable with reporting services. Ha made the class enjoyable. Look forward to his 'analysis services' class in April
funny Mr Palermo knows the subject and is enthusiastic about it. It makes the overall experience more enjoyable.
Funny and helpful
very good, kept it interesting/entertaining
Mike makes the class very easy to follow because of his attitude. He has real examples, and all the funny comments help a lot to stay engaged.
Very friendly, opened me up to a new technology. Never thought it would be so good.
Mike is the best instructor I've ever had in IT training. He's extremely knowledgable yet easy to understand. You don't feel intimidated by his knowledge at all.
Mike presented the information so that it was not overwhelming; a good thing. He was funny yet professional. He had a great ability to relate the presented technology with other technologies not focused on in the class.
Energetic and animated instructor who keeps the class rolling.
I don't have any experience about ASP but he made very comfortable in class. I think I can use the material to develop a Web page. He also gave me a lot of the vision about what ASP can do. Great class.
Very energetic and knowledgable about the coursework!! Excellent Technical and communications skills
Great presentor.
professional, knew subject matter extensively, able to explain in laymen's terms, gave on the fly visual demos besides pre-printed and pre-determined labs. This is HUGE for a visual learner like myself
