Deliverables:
Attendees receive the following items when taking this course:

  • Microsoft courseware 2279 (Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 Active Directory® Infrastructure)
  • Microsoft courseware 2282 (Designing a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 Active Directory® and Network Infrastructure)
  • Interface exclusive student/lab manual
  • Certificate of Achievements for
    • 2279
    • 2282

This five-day, instructor-led, comprehensive lab course provides students with advanced knowledge and skills to implement, manage and troubleshoot Active directory. Students will implement a small environment of a single forest/single domain up to a large scale multi forest/multi domain environment. Students will then migrate/restructure back to a single forest/single domain environment.

During the process, students will implement through several methods, including scripting thousands of users, groups and an OU structure. Students will apply Group Policy Objects to ease administration and security concerns.

Students will experience and implement troubleshooting tools and fault tolerant procedures to maintain domain wide authentication, maintain forest wide active directory, and monitor performance of replication.
